If you are looking for the perfect place to host your special event, you have found the right place! We want your day to be just how you dreamed it up, and we are here to help you the whole way! We have an indoor pavilion that seats a little over 200. For bigger events we can set your event up outdoors in our beautiful orchard!
Christmas Trees
We have been the premier Christmas tree provider in the area since 1962! Whether you want the choose and cut option, or a pre-cut Christmas tree we have the perfect one for your family! We also have freshly made wreaths, and pre-order garland. We can flock Christmas trees, wreaths, or garland upon request.

Roan Valley Farms, nestled in Johnson City, Tennessee, is your ultimate year-round family destination. We have something fun for EVERYONE, no matter what age. During the fall we have four different haunted attractions, LOCAL vendors inside our pavilion, a food truck, plus indoor and outdoor seating. When Thanksgiving weekend comes around we open our choose and cut fields to the public, and also bring our freshly cut Fraser Firs from North Carolina into our beautiful pavilion. Any other time, you can rent our farm out for any type of event you have in mind!

Join us at Roan Valley Farms for our second year of unforgettable fall festivities, open every Friday and Saturday in October from 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM at 440 Okolona Road! Delight in a family-friendly, non-scary corn maze, a vibrant playground, and fun games tailored for kids, or test your courage with four thrilling haunted attractions: a spine-chilling corn maze, eerie hayride, haunted Christmas tree field, and ghostly peach orchard. Savor mouthwatering dishes from our on-site food truck and discover unique treasures from local vendors in our pavilion. Since 1962, Roan Valley Farms has been Johnson City’s premier Christmas tree farm, proudly family-owned and operated by founder Wayne Ayers and his sons, John and Steve. Our legacy includes the prestigious honor of supplying a Christmas tree to the White House in 1993, a testament to our commitment to excellence. Nestled in Johnson City, Tennessee, we specialize in premium Fraser Firs, offering both choose-and-cut experiences—available starting Thanksgiving weekend, though they usually sell out that weekend —and fresh pre-cut trees grown at our farm in Western North Carolina. Our focus on freshness and quality ensures your tree stays vibrant with minimal care. Beyond trees, we craft fresh wreaths and garland on-site, available plain or decorated, with flocking options for trees, wreaths, or garlands (requiring a one-day drying period). For an eco-friendly option, our Rent-a-Tree program lets you lease a live tree, with delivery available, allowing your family to enjoy the same tree year after year as it grows.
